Today we are taking the test We are also talking about our next blog topic. I have the 1956 presidential election. I continued to study for the test. I learned that the United States signed many neutrality acts that kept them out of the war. Eventually we started to not stay neutral. We started by signing the cash and carry system that would allow people to come and get products with money up front. Then we started to lean to the Allied side of the war. We signed the Lend-lease Act where we lended Great Britain ships and at the end of the war they had to return the ships that we gave them. We also signed the Bases for Destroyers where is we gave Great Britain ships they would give us a lease of the Pacific bases that they had. For the last ten minutes of class I started to take my test and I will finish tomorrow.
