8.2- Blacks were segregated from everybody else. Only a few blacks would go to school so there was a lot of uneducated people. Finally there was laws passed that were meant to give blacks more freedoms, but some people didn't except that.5.1- Whites traveled west and they pretty much took over the Native lands. They didn't really care about the Natives or their land. The Natives were one with the land and respected everything, but the whites did not.Jane Addams- She won a nobel peace prize and visited Europe many times to work and learn.Chinese Exclusion Act- First restriction on immagrants in US History. Banded chinese except for teachers, political leaders, and others of importance.Importance of Buffalo- Indians followed buffalo for food, thought it was dishonorable to not use every part of the buffalo. The white wouldn't use all of it and they pretty much used them for hide then left everything else.6.2 George Pullman- He built factorie for making railroad cars, in 1880.8.3- Blacks couldn't vote because of discrimination.
