Today we where assigned projects to do and make a powerpoint on it. Fair labor standards act and the NYA National Youth Act where the ones that I was assigned. Today we talked more about the stock market crash and then causes of the great depression. Causes of great depression rich got richer and poor stayed the same. The companys where not making money and stock price kept going up. Hoover was raising the tariff so that imported goods caused people to buy American goods and he thought that would be good for the American businesses so they would sell more goods hire more people and people would buy things but then other countries raised the tarriff for exported goods so that caused the great depression.
