Monday - We have a class quiz tomorrow and the overall test on Wednesday, most likely Thursday for me (written). We went over a current event and then continued to watch Undocumented.

Why it's Offensive?
- Islams believe that pictures of Mohammed are offensive
- Prophet Mohammed was said to be just a man, not god
- Religious interpretations is that he didn't want to be painted because he didn't want to be seen as god-like
- Images strike at a important part of religion
Undocumented
- Amnesty Dream Act - young children brought to America (illegally) can live the American dream if they go to school or into the military
- Most thoughts about illegals are negative
- There is close to 12 million illegals
- Most illegals come from Mexico, but not all
Tuesday - We watched a video on Cinco de Mayo and what it is and isn't. We watched the last Social Issues video on High School Drop Out rate. We watched Undocumented.

Wednesday - We watched the rest of Undocumented.The map test is on Friday and we talked about the semester test.
Thursday - We did the verbal U.S. map test.
Friday - I took my written map test and I got 100%!! We went over the semester test.
