Vietnam Conflict and Korean Conflict

The Korean war lasted from 1950 to 1953. Officially, North and South Korea are still at war. We stopped North from spreading communism to South. We didn't make the South turn democratic. The north invade the south of Korea to start the war.
Vietnam
The Vietnam Conflict lasted from 1950 to 1975. In 1950
France lost to Vietnam and they gained back their independence. The U.S. went to Vietnam in 1964. Because the north had invaded the south. The north was the communist side. Starting in the early 1960s, we started escalating into the war. The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution gave President Johnson the right to do what he wanted to during the war. The war was very difficult for us to tell if the Vietnamese were civilians or killers. The Vietcong attacked all the cities in south Vietnam. We dominated Vietnam in the Tet Offensive. Ho Chi Minh was the leader of Vietnam and Communism. Nixon called for us to leave and let Vietnam fight each other. In 1975 north took over the south and it became communist. We went there to help the french and stop the spread of communism.
