Just before Oswald was put on trial, he was killed by Jack Ruby
People were claiming that he didn't work alone on killing JFK

People stole from the DNC in the Watergate buildings
Did it to get information on the democrats
Nixon tried to cover it up

5 burglars had been caught while attempting to wiretap phones
Aftermath

Nixon resigned
Gerald Ford immediately pardoned Nixon
Changed American politics
Made them question leadership
