The cuban Revolution began with an attack rom Genteral Fulgencio Batista on Satiago, Cuba
it was known as Moncada Barracks becasue that is where Batista focused his attack
Castro wanted to over trow Bastata and he and all the other exiles from the Moncada Barracks known as the 26th of July Movement
Castro used undergroun guerilla tactics; was used when the cuban's tried to rvolt against spain and they became known as imperialistic remgime
Operation Veranto was launched by Batista to crush Castro and any other anti governmental groups
castros forces defeated the entire battalion at the battle fo La Plata
after operation verano ended. casto ordered three columns to invade central Cuba
on January 8, 1959 is the day that is knows for castro defeating Havana
castro became the new leader of Cuba on that day in early January and every citizen in Cuba was happy for him
