Monday- Started watching the movie "Killing Kennedy"
Tuesday- Went over three EC power-points about Kennedy's death, and the Watergate Scandal. Iran Hostage Crisis will be presented on Monday.
JFK- On his way to Texas, where he was losing support. (Fourth successful assassination of a US pres) Lee Hervey Oswald "acted alone". Oswald was killed before his trial by Jack Ruby. People thought that Oswald "didn't act alone". The conspiracies are funny to listen to everything that the public came up with.
WG- June 17, 1972, several people were arrested for stealing from the DNC Office in the Watergate building. They wanted to get information on the democrats in order to "one-up" them. Rigged a lot of things like wiretapped equipment and took pics of the notes. A security guard saw tape on the door of the office. 5 arrests were made. 4 out of 5 had CIA connections. November 7, 1972 Nixon was re-elected. The documents were (allegedly) used to help Nixon win. Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein were the ones that uncovered the Watergate Scandal, and got information from anonymous source. William Mark Felt was the one that gave information to Woodward and Bernstein, that was a FBI Agent.
Wednesday- Started the Group test on Korea/Vietnam/Group song themes
Thursday- Continued the Group test
Friday- Continued watching "Killing Kennedy"
