germany(me and erin) went... were going to play pin the stache on the hitler to get the audience involved and be creative with our presentation!!! yay germany

1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?

Allies believe they started ww1. strucken physically and financially. army cut 100,000 men.. lost 12.5 perc. on land. had to pay reparations
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)?
little stability in gov. weimer republic..great support for nazi party. hitler named chancellor. hitler took over the state governments.. builiding burnt down, blamed communists, but it was actually nazis. created the third rich.

3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power?
hindenberg died, hitler took over

4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
some better, some worse.. worse for jews

5. What were the goals of the leader?
eliminate all jews, get the land back they lost in ww1

6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years(1919-1938)?
imporves use of new weapons. blitzkrieg. never fight in trench warfare again like in ww1.

7. What role did they play in WWII?

attacked countries who took their land during ww1

8. Who were their allies in WWII?

axis powers, allies won .. axis; japan, italy, hungary, romania, bulgaria

9. How did WWII impact/effect the country?

nazi's fell 5.5 mill deaths.. 160,000 hollocaust deaths.. massive ruins. hitler commited suicide before he was set to be on trial and to escape extermination

bruns isnt going to ask every question about every country, just general stuff. who were their allies. who did thet belong to... ect.
