1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?
-the army had to be cut; 100000 men thier navy reduced.
-amount of land cut;
-had to pay for reparation of other years.
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)?
-Weimar Republic; 1919; weak government; run by jews; many flaws in system; still had benefits; lasted fourteen years; led to Hitler and the Third Reich;
3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power?
- The previous leader had died and Hitler was basically given the power to rule.
-Used the trial process to get known to people.
-He also wrote his book; one of the top selling books; in this book he out lines his goals.
4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
-he definitely made it worse.
-Discriminationg the Jews; Started in 1933; Banished from goernment jobs; Boycotts of Jewich shops; Jews banned from Universities. Nuremberg laws; stated that you couldn't inter marry. like a jew couldn' t marry like a german person. Profession limitations; German shops didn't allow Jews.
-Movement of Polish Jews; Polish border- no man's land; riot; Kristallnacht; the night of Glass; for all the broken glass from all of the Jew shops..

-November 8, 1923; Munich Beer Hall; Hiotler proclaimed a revolution; Next day; led 2000 armed brown shirts to take over the Barvarian Government; Sentenced Feve years to jail; Served nine months.
