Monday- Today is the start of the 4th quarter and we started off with talking about this weeks forum posts. We are going to also start the Japan power point. Several major events between WWII WWI. There leader dies and Hirohito takes command. The are also having some serious issues with china and they due pull there troops out in 1929. They are doing things that seems like they are trying to prevent war. Fighting china for more land and resources. Canada actually declared war before we did on Japan. Obviously the biggest battle for Japan and us was Pearl harbor. This was the Battle that put the us in WWII. They attacked pearl harbor to open up trading with us today. Japan wasn't even mad at china they just really wanted there resources.
Tuesday- We are still going over Japan and there affect on the war. Hitherto was the emperor during the war. He supposedly had control of all japans nukes if they even had any. The home land of japan was completely messed up, the government was more focused on propaganda then the community. They were trying to get the birth rate up so they had more soldiers for the war. The us ended up taking 600,00 thousand civilian lives in japan through bomb. Yes it is never good to take civilian lives but it pretty much made japan surrender and us win the war. This pretty much put everything in Japan into a downward spiral after there survival. There economy went to total crap.
Wednesday- We are going over japan still but now we are on bruins power point about japan. Japans main reason for was was resources. As you may know Japan is a very small island but is also very highly populated. This means they have a lack of resources. The qurentine speech was pretty much saying that we need to quritne all the axis powers such as Germany. We were trying to stay neutral at the time. But this speech kinda showed whose side we were picking. Japan also shot down one of are boats witch was full of civilians. they stated that this was accident.
Thursday- We again are going over japan and first we are during a small review over what we went over last week. We eventually are going to start the second episode of the world wars.May of 42 it was the battle of midway, We tactfully did know the attack was coming and aboulutley destroyed japans navy and its never been the same sense. We had are first major land victory and camel. We actually thought the Japaneses were blind and that they were a very easy opponent. Kamakazies was japans main point.
