RToday, we are doing our blog discussions on the Treaty of Versailles.

TREATY OF VERSAILLES;

- David Lloyed George; Great Britain.

Territorial loss; Germany lost alot of their land. They lost 12.5 percent of their land.

They also lost their colonies over seas.

military consequences; the army was reduced to 100,000 men. their navy vessels had to be under a certain weight. No air force. No Navy. They got a demilitarized reinland area.

Germany had to take full responsibility for starting WWI.

Economic consequences on Germany; Germany had to pay back 33 billion dollars to Great Britain and France. Land was given to France; Belgium; Denmark; and Czechoslovakia.

the treaty set up the leuge of nations; this was designed to keep peace on earth.

AFTER WWI;

Russia lost alot of land. Poland showed up between Germany and Russia. Austria Hungary got smaller and into two smaller countries.
