Monday -
Eleanor Roosevelt becomes a role model for woman's rights and she tried to push her husband (FDR) to pass law that would make woman more equal.
Back in the day woman were expected to cook, clean and take care of the house in the 50s.
60s woman relized that their was more than working in the house and they started to go out and gets jobs.
Civil rights act made it so their was no discrimination.
Tuesday -
1993- Family and medical leave act
1994- Gender Equity in Education Act
1997- Collages had to have roughly the same number of girls in the same sport and guys.
FMLA- made it so femal can take a long leave because of a baby and they don't get fired.
