Hitlet took over france within a month. Hitler said to wait for the panzers to catch up. During this time most of france retreated to great britain. The reason hitler took over so quickly was because france was being stupid and they thought they were well prepared that they though the Maginot Line (wall) would protect them from hitler's force so they were overwhelmed by germany. the free french underground was lead by charles de gualle.

Great britain was hitler's next target because they were the only ally that the invaded countries had left to run to for help and aid so hitler started attacking their fleet and their royal air force but failed to destroy the RAF so they attacked london and the cites around. Germans also started bombing Britain at night so they wouldn't be interacting with the RAFs because Germans sucked at fighting the RAFs. Hitler wanted to take over Britain so he could gain control of Europe but the RAFs stopped him from getting any closer to britain so he failed.

Stages for German Attacks:

1. attack the british royal air force

2. intensify raids on british royal air force

3. attack british cities

the neutrality acts were designed to to keep everyone happy. if the US kept on trading with countries at war, then thjey usually get involved in the war. if anyone want to buy or trade anything from the US people Cash and Carry System so it would keep the US safe from any plan of raiding.Herman Goering was the leader of germany luftwaffe and then took over after hitler commited suicide with a few dayus of war.
