When Wilson went to the treaty he took his plans. He called them his 14 points. Germany was not in the plans at all. It said that all countries demilitrize or take the colines out. It looked really easy but it would not go. France wanted Germany to pay for what they did. The fought on French soil for four years. 20 years later Germany invaded and took over france in a month. They called for Germany to be split up into four zones and then there was two Germanys. France called for this in ww1. If we would have went with either us or France then we would have been able to stop the second world war.
Italy wanted more land for austria hungrey but didnt and there president guy didnt like it and walked out. But then he always just came back. THe land they lost was farm land and they lost there over seas land like in Africas. There new countries that arrived with the fall of Germany.
There was no airforce and no navy. They could only have 100,000 solgiers. They also couldnt have tanks.
