I have Germany.
1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact Germany?
It was signed by Germany and the Allied Powers. Germany lost most of their land and was limited in many different areas. The main reason this treaty was created was to punish Germany and to create a League of Nations, which set goals like preventing war through collective security. Germany had to take the blame and they were stripped of a lot of their land. Their Army had to be cut at least one hundred thousand men and the Navy was cut down to only thirty six ships and could have no U-boats, they were even banned from having an Air Force. Unions were banned, resources were lost like coal and iron. Germany also had to pay HUGE reparations to certain countries and were greatly in debt for an amount of time.
