Germany- Hitler joined the DAP in 1919, and became the 55th member. Hitler changed this to the Nazi Party.
Government- Hitler became the Chancellor in 1933. He was appointed by President Hindenburg.
WW2 led to a depression in Germany in the near end of WW2.
Hitlers goals- In his book, Min Koumph, he wanted to show how the Treaty of Versalles effected Germany, Get land back given away in WW1, and get all Germans in different countries back into German lines. He also had said that he will take over Lebransraum, modern day Turkey.
Germany was the head of Axis powers, and pretty much started the war.
Inter war Govt- Newly democratic, Weimar Republic.
Before WW2, Hitler reformed the Nazi party, Hitler becomes l dictator on March 23, 1933, and the government switches from democracy to dictatorship.
The interwar strategy was a blitzkrieg, it was a fast, swift unknowingly attack.
