March 14 - 18

Monday - Today is pi day. We looked at the Asia map and reviewed the former soviet republics. The polls show Donald Trump leading in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, and Ohio.  We looked at current events and students started presenting their world issues.

Tuesday - Today we took the class quiz over the former the soviet republics and Australia. Student continued on their presentations. The primary in Florida, Ohio, Illinois, and North Carolina. Trump is up in Florida and Illinois, but in Ohio it's a dead heat.

Wednesday- We did pretty good on the maps. Marco Rubio has dropped out, but it was his time so that's okay. We also have a new student. Ted Cruz and John Kasich need to take out Trump and make sure he doesn't get the nomination. Obama nominates a supreme court justice named Merrick Garland. NFL admits the there is a link between football and CTE. We are continuing presentations.

Thursday - Today is St. Patrick's day. We did a class quiz on east Asia. Looked over a video about genocide. Genocide can be defined as mass killings of a certain people or race and it can be the mutilation of people. Brian and Logan presented on the importance of farm safety.

Friday - Continued on presentations. Reviewed Asia map, also took the test.
