Stalin wanted to focus on Industry, instituted 5 year plan, wanted to go from a certain level to a higher level of economic stature,
famine in Ukraine- 5 to 10 million people died, due to Stalin, Stalin banning religion, first was christian than atheist,
WW2- Non aggression pact, Hitler and Stalin worked together, somewhat allies, invaded Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Poland, Neutrality pact between Japan and Russia,
Hitlers blitzkrieg- did well till winter, Germans had 90% of Stalingrad, slow process of pushing back the Germans,
Battle Of Berlin- Very last few weeks of the war,
Post Cold War- Other world super power, assumed war would break out between US and USSR,
