1. Watergate
the watergate started june 17,1972. Asecurity guard at the Democratiac National Committe saw tapes covering the door locks two times and did nothingthe first time. but the second time he called the police. Virgilio Gonzales, Bernard Baker, James McCord, Eugenio Martinez, and Frank Sturgis were all the people who got in trouble, they were arrested. Also the president, Nixon was in trouble and put on trial. They found this out by looking in the mens bank accounts. Then after all of that a guy asked if there were any video camaras in there and there were. Nixon refrused to give over the tapes after being asked to. Then they got one and there was recording of him talking about the watergate cover up plan. After this Nixon resigned as president of the United States probabally because he was going to be impeached anyway.

2. Persian Gulf war (1990-91)
in 1991 Iraq invaded Kuwait aafter the talk of oil production. Bush president of the United States then thought that Iraq intends to invade Saudi Arabia and take control of the region's oil supplies.
He Creates a multination to seek Kuwait's freedom and goverment. So bush had US troops go to Saduia Ariabia To protect them due to request.

3. 9-11
on the morning os seotember 11, 2001, 19 hijackers took airplanes in route to San Fransico and Los Angeles. At 8:46 a.m., Flight 11 of the American Airlines crashed into the World Tread Centers North building. After that Flight 175 crashed into the south building at 9:03 am. Then the Pentagon was hit at 9:37 am. Then another at 10:03 am and after that there was another plane that was going and thought that there was going to be going into either the White House or the capitol. I rember this clear as day i was coming in from resces and saw all the teachers going to there classrooms turning on there radios and hearing them freak out about the crash into the buildings. Ther later that night we went to the gas station and the lines were hainging out into the road. then watching all of it on the 10 o'clock news.

went from march 20th to may 1. was led by the united statedFour countries participated with troops during the initial invasion phase, which lasted from March 20 to May 1. These were the United States (248,000), United Kingdom (45,000), Australia (2,000), and Poland (194). 36 other countries were involved in its aftermath. The invasion marked the beginning of the current Iraq War.
