1. Watergate-- June 17, 1972, five men broke into the Democratic national commitee headquarters at the Watergate complex, the men being Virgilio González, Bernard Barker, James W. McCord, Jr., Eugenio Martínez, and Frank Sturgis, the men were convicted of several offensives, and were all tied to the Committee to Reelect the President, the men had been in possesion of several thousand dollars, and after further investigation eventually led to several Republican officials being prosecuted and the resignation of president Nixon.


2. Persian Gulf War(1990-91)-- The Gulf war was a Coalition of 34 nations from the UN against Iraq, which happend due to Iraq's annexation of Kuwait in 2 August 1990, the leading force in the coalition was America, the attack consisted of a aerial attack on 17 January 1991, which was followed by a ground assult, 100 hours after the ground assult started, a cease fire was ordered


3. 9-11 and the War on Terror- invasion of Afghanistan--9-11 happend on September 11, 2001, and consisted of 19 alqueda insurgents highjacking four planes, two of which hit the Twin Towers, one crashed into the Pentagon, and the fourth crashed into fields in Pennslyvania, the war on terror was the George W. Bushs response to 9-11, was supported by the members of NATO, and was charged with elimanating international terroism, focused mainly on the Al-Queda.


4. Invasion of Iraq-2003-- The invasion of Iraq consisted of four nations, USA, UK, Austrailia, and Poland, of which the forces were largly made of american forces, the reason due to the attack was blamed on finding weapons of mass destruction that Iraq failed to disarm, of which no weapons were found. the countrys forces were easily destroyed, main force was defeated in Baghdad, of which after the countrs leader went into hiding and the coalition forces spread out to destroy the remaining pockets of resistants.
