Late afternoon, somewhere around 3:00PM on Tuesday, May 29, 1917 a baby was born. This baby happened to be the second son of Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr, and Rose Fitzgerald. John F. Kennedy. Born, and lived in Brookline, Mass. for the first ten years of his life. John attended public school through third grade and private school for fourth grade. Kennedy being one of the more wealthy presidents growing up, lived in a 20 room mantion for 2 years, then moved to a 21 room mantion, and also had a house that they spent christmas and easter at. JFK spent his 5th through 7th grade years at a private school in Riverdale. He continued school all around, and finally graduated from Chaote in 1935 and was reccomended "Most likely to become President".John attended college at Princton University and Harvard University. He also got to drive through France, Italy, Germany, Holland and England with one of his friends. John got rejected after he volunteered for the U.S. Army. But, the same year got accepted by the U.S. Navy. He worked in an office during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Kennedy had an early political career considering becoming a journalist after World War 2.On Jan. 2, 1960 John announced his intent to run for presidential election. He became the 35th president of the United States on January 20, 1961. He spoke, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". Intending for all Americans to be active citizens, and come together to fight the many battles of life itself.
