Caroline Kennedy was born a year after her parents had a stillborn. She was born in New York City. She is named after her aunt and great-grandmother. John Kennedy, Jr. was born three years later. Patrick Kennedy was born but died two days after his birth. He died of a lung disease. John Jr. and Caroline lived in Georgetown, a neighborhood of Washington D.C. A while later they moved into the White House. While living at the White Caroline went to kindergarten. She had a pony named Macaroni. She got a lot of pictures while riding Macaroni. She got a lot of presents like a dog and a Yucatan pony.

For a while Jacqueline was very upset with Shaw. On John, Jr.’s third birthday his dad’s funeral procession was held.Later the family moved back to Georgetown. Their home became a very popular attraction.They then moved to a house on the upper east side of Manhattan. Their mother got remarried to Aristotle Onassis. Their marriage went until Aristotle died in 1975. They held a funeral mass on August 10, 1963.
