Friday-What we talked about in Mr. Bruns's class today was the book "Fire and Fury". Donald Trump does NOT like the book "Fire and Fury". Michael Wolff actually thanked, yes thanked Trump for the free advertisement. Trump is angry because he believes this is fake. Michael Wolff never had any access to Trump's personal life so he believes that this news is "fake". In the story it states "Donald's family says he acts like a baby." I got a kick out of this. We also viewed his twitter feed and talked about more Donald Trump. This was a great first day!
Monday:1/8- Today in Current world issues we talked about over use of Iphones. Kids are using Iphones way to much which is causing depression. lac, of sleep, and many kids not paying attention in class. This however this isn't apples fault, it's the kids and the parents. I think you could solve this by not letting the kids take the phones to school. Also, Opera gave a great speech and is thinking about running for PRESIDENT in 2020. I would vote for her! This was a great day!
Tuesday:1/9-Today in Mr. Bruns's class I took the first map test! I got 100%. We are also going over our CWI intro quiz and talking about the Fake News Awards. We are also talking about how Trump believes every news is FAKE NEWS. We are also going going over CNN and looking at all the Trump stories. Trump also states "I don't think Oprah will run, but I will best her." Well, he obviously isn't going to say he is going to lose. Today was a Trump day! We also talked about the good and bads of Donald Trump. We also talked about Oprah and how she might run for president. This was a fun day!
Wednesday:1/10- Today we went over part of Europe. It was tough but I think I can do it! We also went over current events the #metoo movement. We didn't do much today. Tomorrow we are going over more of Europe. This was a fun but short day!
Friday:1/12- Today in CWI we talked about legalizing marijuana. I found this topic very interesting since we just recently got a new president. I believe it shouldn't but other people think different. Many people oppose the the legalization of marijuana. It's not a good thing so why would you want it? If it's used for medical reasons that is a different story. This was an interesting day!
