Tuesday- Mr Bruns went over any questions about forum posts or blogs. Kids who wanted to take the continents quiz could. We went over a presentation over president trump. We talked about his tweets and what he thinks is fake news. We talked about he would beat Oprah. She was born in 1954 and she had a local show the Oprah Winfrey Show. Her Global Globes gave people a thought that she may run for president.

Friday- We talked abut legalizing Marijuana. Many parties oppose the legalization. of marijuana. More democrats support the legalization of Marijuana. Marijuana classified as a schedule 1 drug. More people support Marijuana now then years ago. Colorado and Washington have had marijuana legalization for 3-4 years ago. High taxes heavy tax. Pro Legalization is safer then alcohol. No documented deaths by overdose of marijuana. Increases likelihood of car accidents but less then alcohol. Some potential benefits. U.S. has the most prisoners in the world. 653,249 people arrested for marijuana. 57% are black and Latino getting locked up for Marijuana. More republicans are anti legalization.
