-Mr. Bruns talked about Trump, and a new book that came out that he wants to read called Fire and Fury. The book shoots down Trump hard while he claims that it's all lies. Not a whole lot was talked about.
1/8 Monday: Bruns talked about classroom rules and how to treat others. We went over the map while Trump was mentioned and news people were too. Other current subjects were talked about too.
1/9 Tuesday: Started off talking about forum post and etc. Mentioned our map test tomorrow and talked about how the quiz/test are different. Gave the chance to take the quiz today. Finished power point- Trump and his fake news - has a list - each student is worth about 7,000 dollars to the school from the Iowa Gov. Talked about Sofia, the robot. After Sofia, we moved on to Oprah Winfrey. Got background info on her than watched her speech.
Wednesday: Took map quiz. We mapped out Europe than moved on to some other topics.
Thursday: No school
Friday: Mr Bruns was gone so a chick, I don't know her name, talked about legalization of Marijuana. Had us go in groups whether or not you support the legalization of it. Continued on by giving background information on it. Showed Pros and Cons.
