Stock prices were very over priced

Companies wern't making much money in the the late 1920's

At this time the stocks were going up.

Needed money to make money before 1920's

"Buying on Margin"

this was buying stocks on credit

This caused to people being in debt and over priced stocks.

Over production of goods

Companies were making too much and not making enough

Uneven distribution of wealth

Lower class people got involved in the Stock and only bowarred money.

Too much of borrowing from banks

Gave out too much money and never got their money back.

Lead to people being in Debt

Federal Reserve increased intrest rates

If banks ran out of money they would close and never open

If people didn't get their money out of the bank they would lose it all.

Made it too easy to borrow money.

in 1929 they realized the stock market was a joke so they rose intrest rates.

In a month the market crashed

Lack of government regulation.
