Trickle Down Theory-Give tax breaks to the rich, and the good things will come to the lower classes. 

Harlem Renaissance and the Great Migration 

It contained African American Culture, literature, stage performance, and art. 

During the Harlem Renaissance Louis Armstrong was one of the most popular jazz musicians 

Considered to be a rebirth of AF arts 

James Weldon Johnson considered it the high point of Flowering Negro Culture. 

The Cotton Club was a new york city nightclud located in Harlem and it operated during prohibition, and it allowed only whites, but featured black artists like Fletcher Henderson, Duke Ellington, Jimmie Lunceford, Chick Webb, and Louis Armstrong. 

Ku Klux Klan- founded in 1866 by ex-confederates who opposed reconstruction, and the clan was disbanded shortly after 

Restarted in 1915 by William Joseph Simmons, and he restarted the burning of crosses and made money by selling memberships. 

Model T- low cost, durable, started in 1907 and ended in 1927

Scopes Monkey Trial- Where a school science teacher voiced his opinion on evolution, and he was aressted and put on trial for it.
