January 4- January 8

January 4 (Monday)- No School

January 5 (Tuesday)- Mr. Bruns went over rules and expectations and showed us how to use his website. He also showed us how to do extra credit opportunities. He told us that we might want to go over the semester test topics as the semester goes on so we don't get behind.

January 6 (Wednesday)- Today, we went over the different topics the forum post leaders chose. He told us we have to reply to some of these forum posts. He told us if we wanted to we could sign up for remind. He also let us choose partners to work on the Decades In Contrast project with. He assigned me and my partner, Faith Anderson, question #3 and #4 from 1930's

January 7 (Thursday)- Today Mr. Bruns told us a little bit more about the project and gave us class time to work on the project. He also went around the room and told us some ideas about what to add into the presentation. Faith and I were assigned question #3 and #4. Question 3 is President Hoover’s attempt(or lack thereof) to help solve Great Depression. Question 4 is 1932/1936 Presidential elections. Faith and I decided which question we wanted and how we were going to do the presentation. We decided I would do question #3 and she would do question #4.

January 8 (Friday)- Mr. Bruns assigned new forum post leaders. He told us we will have a quiz on Monday about our topics. He went around the room and gave us some ideas about what to add into the presentation. He told me to talk about the acts Hoover passed. He told Faith to make sure she talks about the candidates and what they were trying to tell us they would do to make our country better.
