The Harlem Renaissance was a movement that took place in Harlem, New York, spanning through the 1920's

Blacks moved North toward Harlem New York and they started a black culture, that was considered a golden age in black history.

It roughly started in 1910's and ended in the late 1930's

 

Thursday- Project

The Cotton Club- The Cotton Club was a New York City nightclub located in Harlem on 142nd Street and Lenoc Avenue from 1923 to 1935 then briefly in the midtown Theater District from 1936 to 1940.

Ku Klux Klan-  The Klan was revived by William Jospeh Simmons in 1915

In his first officical act, he climbed to the top of a local mountaun set a cross on fire

The Model T started at 1907 by Henry Ford

It was low cost, durability, affordable transportation for the common man, Versatility, Ease of maintenance

Charles Lindbergh- First solo, nonstop flight across the Atlantic
