Iran's Nuclear Weapons?

This is my assigned blog assignment, on the topic of (as shown) Iran's nuclear weapons from the past to present. Iran's nuclear program started to progress in the era of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlevi, in which 20 nuclear power reactors were planned to be constructed. Two were started, but were unfinished due to damages from bombings courtesy of the Iraqis during the Iran-Iraq War.

This is the Iranian flagThe current day program for Iraq's nuclear is ran by assorted Iranian organizations, including the President who would be the amazing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the commander of the Iranian Revulutionary Gaurd Corps (IRGC), the head of the Defense Industries Organization, and the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO). I don't know the names of these chumps, and I didn't really want to look it up. Iran claimed they were attempting to establish an absolute nuclear fuel cycle to support a civilian energy program, however some suspicions would beg to differ, these being that the same fuel cycle could be used to make nuclear weapons. Also, Iran had spread out their nuclear activity, potentially to prevent detection or attack.

This is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian President. I didn't know what else to put for a picture. After the finish of the Iran-Iraq War, Tehran put more focus in its effort to develop ballistic missiles and other WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Iran even approved of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in 1970, however they have threatened nuclear weapons, which America had to interfere because they would wary Iran might take out Israel, a close Middle East ally of the U.S. because Iran's leaders have repeatedly stated "Israel should be wiped off the map." Also, the Middle East is still an essential source of energy, mainly oil, for the U.S. and the rest of the world.By obligation, I am to state my opinion on the situation. I think nuclear weapons should not be a factor in this fine world. I am a pacifist, and I do not like fighting, unless it is Mr. Bruns talking about the origin of the word 'Blog' (I'm not a fan).
