Iran's Nuclear Program.

Iran's leaders have been working on bettering their nuclear program since the 1950's. It all started with the "Atoms for Peace" movement. The movement was mainly started by President Dwight Eisenhower, who made a speech about this. After the speech, the US kicked right into gear. We supported this by sending information to schools, letting the public know, and supplying equipment. There was help from the west, but thoughts of wrong intentions ended outside help. Iran is denying any skeptics of trying to make a bomb. Experts agree that Iran is getting better at producing enriched Uranium, but they disagree on how well Iran is mastering their capabilities of using these weapons. Doesn't an international inspector have to figure this out? Obviously when they are inspecting they will find things, why won't they just question them? It doesn't make sense.

Supposedly Iran wants to boost their nuclear program for the sole purpose of generating electricity without using oil. The oil that they'd prefer to export. Other officials think it's used for nuclear weapons. When President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came into office Iran stopped listening to the US when they told them to stop their enrichment program. I think that Ahmadinejad should just listen to the US. He's just digging himself into a deeper hole. If he's the leader of a country supposedly making nuclear weapons, as a president, he should be stopping these rumors. Somehow, someway.A few days ago Obama and leaders of France and Britian accused Iran of having a secret underground plant to make nuclear fuel. The plant has been hidden from nuclear inspectors for years. Obama said that Iran has to open the plant up for international inspectors within weeks. Maybe, finally, we can clear some things up fromt this.
