Since around the 1950s, the Iran government has been working on the country’s nuclear power system. Iran has been advancing in the technology of enriching uranium. The United States is very concerned with Iran’s nuclear program. Iran violated rules of a treaty it had that stated not to misuse the nuclear power. With it’s developing nuclear power program, it would be easily capable for Iran to gain nuclear weapons. This is what scares America and some other surrounding countries of Iran.
Iran has had help from other countries with on enhancing it’s nuclear power system. Russia, China, North Korea, and Pakistan have all helped out in the development. They all helped out with things like technology improvements, getting materials, and gather information. The Chinese president and President Bush had discussed how the U.S. government doesn’t want Iran to know how to make nuclear weapons or have the supplies to make them.

There is many different locations for Iran’s nuclear power system. A nuclear reactor is being built in Iran that is located by Iranian. In February 2009, a power plant was built in Bushehr. Iran has a nuclear facility center in Natanz. There is also a research and developing center there. The city, Darkhovin will start building a power plant that is nuclear coming soon. Other nuclear places in Iran include: Esfahan, Parchin, and Lashkar Abad.
The country, Iran, plans to have a delivery service for the nuclear power system in the future. Once the production of fissile material is complete, there would have to be some type of vehicle that could deliver the warhead device. If there isn’t a delivery vehicle there isn’t any way to conceive a nuclear weapon. Iran began creating a series of programs for ballistic missiles since the war the country had with Iraq.

United States thinks that Iraq is capable of producing nuclear weapons but Iran’s media is trying to prove otherwise. The information they’re giving is vague though so nobody can be a hundred percent sure on either side. Hopefully Iran isn’t capable of using nuclear weapons against us. I think it would be horrible for that to become possible, especially since they show a great hatred towards the United States.
