How Do You Remember?

It was a normal day, we all got up and went to school. Our teachers had no idea what was going to happen. They were just doing their regular classroom schedules. Math, then science, and then reading time. As we sat around Mrs. C. listening to her read our daily chapter in our classroom book. Something happened and she was called to the library when she came back she was crying. Later on we found out what happened. I remember watching the TV wondering what was going on. Why would someone do such a thing? I had never seen these buildings before or been to New York. It all seemed so weird. I remember going outside and lighting a candle for all of the people who had died and looking down the street and seeing all to candles. It was such a gorgeous site. That is what I remember of 9-11.

Here is someone else's story. I found this video while doing research and it hit me hard. I was not effected by 9-11 personally but many were. Think of how it would feel to one second have a dad and the other not. Think of how you would remember 9-11 if it had effected you. Think of how the families of the victims were effected and still are. Watch this video and if you don't feel different there is something wrong with you. This little girl now has to live everyday with out her daddy. How would you feel if you dad was all of a sudden gone.

  • Great reflections but you were also supposed to talk about what happened that day.
