global warming-Senator James Inhofe

..This week we had to read this reallllyyyy long thing on the computer and then summarize what it was about. Basically, its about Senator James Inhofe talking about global warming. He thinks that it is one of the most talked about things right now in our world. Global warming and global cooling has been talked about in the media since 1895. In 1895 they thought an ice age was coming. They stopped thinking that in 1920, when they believed global warming was a threat. Following that, they believed another ica age was coming. And now, they think global warming is a threat again. As you can see, there has been lots of drama over global warmings and coolings. Senator James Inhofe does not believe that global warming has been caused by us humans. He found out that the sun has caused 50 percent of it in the 20th century...“The Skeptical Environmentalist” a book written by Bjorn Lomborg, was recently discovered by Inhofe. In the book, there was a whole list of some of the world's biggest problems. Global warming wasn't high on the list. He used to be in that same committee but then revoked himself after concluding that they were teaching bad science. Senator James Inhofe thinks that people are going to look back at this time, and wonder why we spent so much time on the issue of global warming. Time Magazine ran an article in April warning people about global warming...In 2006, there was an article in the Reuters news that said they had interviewed a vistor of the Arctic. They said that there were two polar bears who looked as if they were in pain. One of them almost looked dead and the other one looked really tired. But Inhofe said that it only looked that way and it couldn't be proven...I think that this was a good article. It made me realize that maybe global warming isn't completely true and they are making it a bigger deal than they should have. I think that the book they wrote was good because by putting global warming lower on the list, people will concentrate on more important things like diseases. I'm glad they did that. My opinion on that article in Reuters news was that they probably were not lying. But my guess is that the bears were just chillin in the snow and not dying you know?
