Global Warming.. or Is It?

In the article that I read, Senator James Inhofe states that he does not think that there will be global warming or a coming ice age. The media is all hyped up about this, but after you read this article, if all of his facts are true, which I'm very sure they are, you will discover that global warming is not near as big of an issue people are making it seem like today. After reading this, I really think that the media and climate activists are blowing this thing wayyy out of proportion. The first topic in his article addresses the media and some scientists bouncing back and forth predicting global warming for 20-30 years and then changing and predicting and ice age for the next 20-30 years. The earliest time, in 1895, there was thought to be a coming ice age. Obviously, that didn't happen. These predictions flipped back and forth four more times, and now, it is predicted that global warming is coming. . .again. Now really, if they're wrong that many times about some so-called big thing that is happening, what are the chances they're going to get it right one of these times? They're 0/4 at this point, so things really aren't looking good. The next point that he discussed was that scientists are trying to tell us that the temperature has suddenly increased a lot, and that is one of the indications global warming is coming. Again, this point is not very strong, as there was once a very warm medival period in which it is a very good possibility that it was even warmer then than it is today. It was so warm to the point that vikings were growing food in Greenland. If you know anything about Greenland's climate, then it would make sense why this is pretty impressive. For those of you who don't know, Greenland's climate is extremely cold. Scientists who support global warming are basically trying to cover this up so that it looks like the medival warm period never existed. The next very relevant point he mentioned was CO2 emissions. I did not know any of these facts until I read this article, and once you have read him, you honestly almost ask yourself how stupid you must have been to not have noticed these facts before and just believed everything the media has told you. In this portion of his writing, he first points out that one of the "driving forces" behind the theory of global warming is CO2. But as he also states in this section, in roughly 1940 when we really began to use fossil fuels and all that good stuff that create these emissions, there was no global warming predicted at this time. As a matter of fact, the temperatures were going down. Actually, there was supposedly an ice age on the way. Now really, does this make any sense whatsoever?Inhofe then goes to say the media is just hyping up global warming or cooling, way more than it needs to be and just preying on people to make them wary about the future. The media has flip flopped just as many times as the scientists who predict this stuff, so basically they're just puppets saying what the oh-so-smart scientists say is coming next. They haven't been right before, so they're most likely not right now, so why don't we just conserve what we can and not make this a much bigger issue than it needs to be?After reading this article, I agree with Senator Inhofe. He has facts proving his point and at the same time, his facts disprove other theories by other scientists predicting this "global warming that is coming." At the same time, I'm not saying the earth is just one big playground and we can throw whatever wherever because the earth will be around forever and nothing will happen to it. We do need to be careful and use what we have wisely and make this planet healthy for all of us. And hopefully, we won't contribute too much to the next period of global warming or cooling the scientists predict next.(:
