George Easman was a high school drop out. But even withoput that education he supported his widoed mom and 2 sisters. at 14 he got a job as a office boy and followed that to be a clerk in a local bank. as he grew with his financial genuis he became an entrepreneur by his mid 20's. which enabled him to start his buisness eastman kodak company.
At 24 he tried to go on a trip to Santo Domingo he never completed the trip butafter it he got very into photography. After 3 years of expiermenting in his moms kitchen he found a formula that worked. and by 1880 he had not only done that but had also patened a camera that would change photography. He leased a floor in a builing in Rochester. His first purchase was an engine to help manufactoring.over sum time he came out with a final product in 1888. after only a year his product grew vastly. with agencies and advertisment mangers now his camera was everywhere.
today kodak is a big brand camera and makes millions. some people wonder where eastman thought of the word and how he found it. he was just a big fan of the letter k and wanted a word that started and ended with that letter and so we have kodak.
