Today was another work day. We are not allowed to have wiki and book as both of our sources for one topic. So today I am going to look for another source because I used wiki for a source already for the REA, but computers are being pretty dumb today and are being very slow and the internet is going in and out. Also, I am very upset because on my google docs I had this really cool background last semester and I dont remember how I got it, so Whitney is going to try to help me figure it out.-REA-So, I found a really good source, I think. The rural electirfication administration started on May 11, 1935 by Franklin D. Roosevelt. In 1936 the rural electrification act was passed. This act helped give electricity to people and businesses in the rural areas. The REA was part of one of the New Deal programs. The REA provided jobs for electricians as well. They would travel across the country and give power to people. That is all I could really find today becuase of the internet. OH! and whitney is forever my hero because she totally figured out how to get that background :)
