After that we went over communism, democracy, and a lot of other big words. Communism means to be treated equal. Democracy is the way your country is ran. There are two different kinds of democracy, direct and representative. Mr Bruns told us that there are no current examples of direct democracy. Here in the United States, we have a representative democracy. Then we talked about socialism...Then we talked about the economy. 9.7 percent of people are uemployed. That is really bad. An indicator that shows we have bad economy is profits of companies are down, which means people aren't buying as much. Another indicator is the stock market. Bush had it way up. Now its going down. The housing sales are really bad right now. Stocks are shares of a company.
