Today in U.S. History we went over the questions that are over the chapter of our project, the progressive era. What did progressives do to bring about better wages for workers? What is segregation? What did progressives do to help African Americans? What did the progressives do to make food and drugs safer for people in the United States? What did progressives (Teddy Rosevelt) do to help conserve land and resources in our country? What did progressives do to regulate businesses in the United States? What were the progressives philosphy on tarrifs? Describe the Federal Reserves System. Describe the impact aid organizations had on our country. What is socialism? How was it started in the United States? What/Who wer muckrakers and what impact did they have on our country? What did businesses do to bring better efficiency to their business? Describe the major social changes that affected women during the progressive era.
