Republicans are more conservative. Amendments most important-Bill of Rights talk about more important. first amendment freedom of speech, press, privacy and other freedoms. Woman right to vote. Washington's right to vote. Minorities right to vote. Describe climate change and impact. Era of Imperialism countries that are taking over other countries. World War one started by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The incident of him being killed made it a world war. The countries involved were making the these powers stronger militarialism, imperialism, nationalism, and alliances. All European forces have alliances. Two alliances went into World War One. World War One became the war of "we want the land of the losers". World War One was in the years of 1914-1918. The Treaty of Versailles was about Germany. They had to take full responsibility for the war. Germany lost land and colonies. The league of nation was a treaty that Germany signed and United States didn't sign it because Senate said no but Windrow Wilson said yes. Germany' military was dismantled. Germany had to pay $33 billion. Throughout the 1920"s and 1930's we had to go into isolation. We stayed in isolation until the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and got us involved in World War Two. The Treaty of Versailles ended World War One. Breakout of World War Two was Japan invaded China in 1937. Hitler invaded Poland on September 1, 1939. Hitler wanted German land back. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1942 getting United States involved. World War Two got us out of the Great Depression. After World War two we knew we couldn't go back into isolation so we became the main power. There was the communist and democratic countries now we have one world. There was a huge nuclear arms that every power got. Which started the Cold War. Effects of World War two are United Nations established. United Nations Declaration of Human Rights-1949. Geneva Convention 1949. Canada has an international civil aviation organization the legal status is active. The headquarters are in Montreal, Canada. The head of the ICAO is Raymond Benjamin. The ICAO was formed April 4, 1947. Italy the international fund of agricultural development. Italy has some natural resources and a board range of financial services. The headquarters are in Rome, Italy. The head is Kanayo F. Nwanze. It was established in 1977.
