What were the goals of the leader?
He promised them that he would capture the glory of Rome, which means he would make the Italians feel important again (pride in their nation). He promised to “make the trains run on time,” and he accomplished that. He promised a lot of the same things that Hitler promised Germany. Also, an economy that would be stable and growing.
