WWII Project
Bre went and her country was Japan as well. The Treaty of Versaille gave Japan land but they weren't happy because they didn't get chinese land. During the tashio period Japan had a constitutional monarchy, and they had an emporer. Hiro Hiter was the Emperor of Japan and was highly liked, Hideki Tojo was the Prime Minister and also the chief of the Imperial Japanese Army. The goal of the leader was to get more natural resources because they were lacking in those. Japans military strategy was to attack and demoralize. They beat and raped Chinese people. Japan bombed the U.S. on August 9, 1945. The U.S. bombed Japan right back on the 15th. Japans allies were Germany and Italy.

Whitney and Chelsea went next and their country was Russia(The Soviet Union). Joseph Stalin was the leader before WWII. The SU was trying to stay out of the big conflict with the Treaty of Versaille. They lost part of Poland and Estonia, Lithuania and they were very upset about it. They dropped out of the war because they changed to Communist and thats why they lost the land at the end of WWI. Before WWII they still had a communist government. Stalin was a communist and he took over when Lenon, the previous leader, died. Stalin lead for over 39 years and he killed 6 million of his own people, because he didn't trust anyone. He was a paranoid person and he would even kill people that were close to him. His goals were to gain the land back that they lost in WWI, he wanted to spread the idea of communism. He basically wanted to take over the world. Their military strategy was to stay out of the war as long as possible, while preparing for the war. They signed a treaty with Germany saying Germany wouldn't invade them and then he did so they switched over from Axis power to Allie power. After the war they did get more land though.
