Today, we went over the states and capitals, but today we went over the whole thing instead of breaking it up into three sections. When we finished that we moved on to finishing our blog discussions. In the 1979 the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan and it did not go well for them. We sent weapons over to Afghanistan which started the Taliban and al-Qeada. Afghanistan will do whatever they can to get us out of the Middle-East. In April 2003 we got into the war in Iraq. Blog for next week is free choice. Democrats said we lost our focus and should have stayed focused on Afghanistan. One topic was Barak Obama and how he planned on sending more troops over to Afghanistan. The Surge was what made the war in Iraq better for us because we weren't doing very good at first. People were debating on whether or not we should send a Surge to Afghanistan. Barak Obama hopes we have our troops out of there within 18 months. Make sure to know the differences between Bush's and Obama's policies. We are going to start presenting our projects on Tuesday.
