todaywe attempted to watch a video on the New Deal...after about 15 min of hard work by mr bruns to finally get the video to work...he was successful on about his 27th try...everyone thought that when Hoover became president that he could turn around the depression but he didnt...houses were buried and children lost their way to school because of the dust bowls by kansas...eleanor roosevelt had a two day a week radio cast where she talked about women in the great depression and what they could do...african americans felt like none of the new deal laws passed helped the blacks out at all....
