Today we are still on the new deal presitations.
~The Ag Adjustment act. Farmers were paid to stop producing the crops. in 1938 they improved the act. They destroyed crops and kill hogs and other animals. ints not the same as it is today. it has a different name but it has the same idea.
~Huey long went to law school for little over a year. He was a critic of FDR's new deal. he started the "share our wealth".
~The Food Drug and Cosmetic act. THis is to help make sure that the meat is procesed and packeged right. Royal S. Copeland was the primary auther and sponser of the act.
~THe suprem court packing issues. THis was to help with people get a vote for the new deal. FDR wanted to add people to the court. The act was then never passed.
