France, Britian, and Great Britian fought in the French and Indian War. The Ohio river and the two million dollar grant to Great Britian Causes the war. France was in the lead for a while but the Indians tured around and won.

Great Britian was in great debt because of the war, so they started taxing the colonist.
#12) Describe the accomplishments of Washington, Jefferson, and Jackson as President.
Washington was the only president who was elected enomionisly, anything he did would later help future presidents, many people looked at him as a great leader and took his example.
Jefferson was the third president, he purchased the louisiana purchase which was the southern part of the united states which is ver large.
Jackson was a people's person which means he talked to everybody. Jackson is very famous for the trail of tears were native americans were forced out of their homes and a few died, he was also famous for the National bank.
#13) Describe the causes and effects of the War of 1812.
Britian and the U.S. were the countries who fought in the war of 1812. A few causes of the war was the native americans were telling Britain to attack the U.S., and Britian was taking americans off our ship.
America ended up winning the war. The war gave america much respect, and showed the would we are a good country it was definanly a good victory. The treaty of gent acually ended the war. 1812 is when the star spangled banner was developed.
#14) Describe the causes and effects of the Texas War for Independence.
The texas war was fought between the mexicans and the texians, it was caused by the mexicans and the texians thinking they were better than eachother. The texians ended up winning the War. Also the mexicans wanted to have their own state. The war caused texas to become part of the U.S.
#15) Describe the causes and effects of the Mexican-American War.
The causes of this war was that, the mexicans thought they were being invaded by the U.S. on the Rio Grande, althought the Rio Grande was the U.S.'s territory.
The effects were that we got the rio grande and, the south part of the U.S.
