-France and Indians vs. Britain and colonists
-war over colonies, power, and land

-Britain won the war
-Native Americans still fought and captured 8 forts
-Treaty of Paris of 1763 ended the war
-Great Britain was in debt from war and started to tax colonists

-Washington- set up cabinet, started supreme court
-Jefferson- Louisiana purchase
-Jackson- national bank, Trail of Tears
13. Describe the causes of the War of 1812:
-Britain vs. United States
-Great Britain was telling Native Americans to attack us
-impresment, Great Britain was stopping our ships and taking our men

-Treaty of Ghent ended the war

14. Describe the causes of the Texas War for Independence:
-Mexicans vs. Texans
-Texas wanted to become their own state instead of being Mexico
-Texans killed off a ton of Mexican soldiers at the Alamo
15. Describe the causes of the Mexican American War:
-boundries of Texas
-Texas thought the boundary was the Rio Grande
-Mexico thought the boundary was the Neuces
