1. Describe Native American cultures before and after the arrival of the Europeans.
Native American Culture was way different then the eroupeans. native americans hunted the lands. As you got older you got more wise for native amerians. Eroupeans wanted to settle were they wanted and the native americans didnt want that to happen. Eropueans brought disease over with them and native americans didnt know how to cure it.

The renosants wanted to learn more and more. They all wanted trade riches and power. The biggest trade place was Asia. Everyone wanted to go to asia to get all the goods.

Christopher Colombus Discovered the carribean Area. South america and Central America is where most of them settled. England settled in the eastern part of the U.S.

Religious freedom was the main point. They just wanted something new. Land was another big one and riches and everything like that. Also they didnt wana stay here they wanted to come over here make money then go back.

The new england colonies in the northern part there was more buisness. They had to learn quickly About there new world. The Middle colonies were big in trade and religious , and farmed. The Southern colonies survived all off the land, slavery. They farmed Cotton Tobacco, and indego.

The war was between them and France and great brittian. The first thing was to fight over the land. England Defeated France, and got the lands like canada. The french were completely kicked outa the americas after this war.

They stared enforcing taxes to the collinist. Restricked access to places. The boston teas party was another big one. The boston masecure happened. no taxasion without representation. Some of the effects were Independence from the war. Britian all moved up to Canada cause it was all there land now.

The united states first government. They gave all the power to the states. Wat that means it was like everyone was there own country 13 little counrties. The congress werent being sensere and didnt have any money to do anything. Didnt work at all for the fedral government. It had very little power so it couldnt controll anything really.

The most important thing sets up our government. each state has its own constitution. makes the fedral government stronger than the states. the other most inportant thing is to protect peoples right. some of them are the right to remain silent, the right to bear arms, and you can have your own religion. Gave african americans the right to vote, washington DC the right to vote. Who is going to fallow the president after he does was another.

well the first didnt start until george washigntons first term. He thought they would divide the counrty and he was right it did. During his second term they divide the counrty into fedralist and republican. Hamilton was a big buisness rich people contoll the counrty. Thomas jefferson wanted to be a farming nation, the normal people run the counrty not the rich. african americans vote democrat now.

Washington led the continental army. He believed in a strong government, and a two term limit for every president to be president. Jefferson was appointed first secretary of state. in 1800 he became to the u.s. president, and Burr was his vice president. He got the Luisiana perchase. Jackson 1825 and was president the 7th president. He was a citizen president not the rich man. Wanted to keep power out of the hand s of the wealthy. believed in appealing the masses.

Between the british and the U.S. Alot of Boundery debutes. They stopped american ships and took britian people back to great britian. Teh treaty of Ghent was esttablished. This treaty ended the war. We started getting along with great brittian.

The causes were Mexico was letting U.S. people come into texas. Mexico made them become Catholic and they had to speak spanish. The battle of the alemo Texas won the battle at first and then Texas came and won it. Texas became free and was there own country for a while. \

The causes of it were when we anexed texas. Mexico and the U.S. had bad blood in between us. Sent troops to the Rio Grande river, Mexico thought we wanted a war , they said we invaded them. That was the csuse of the war. The Effects were We paid mexico 20 million dollars for the southwest part of the united states.
16. Describe reasons people moved westward in the early parts of our history.
SOme wanted Jobs mostly land tho. Some people got everything they wanted there. Some others lost everything and had to move back east. The gold rush was a big reason why people moved west. The government encouraged this movement so we could discover more land. The mormans moved west out to utah to find religious freedom.
