#6-Ryan Hedglin- The French and the Indians fought together against Britian. Great Britian won the War. The effects of the French and Indian War was that Great Britian took major control. The French did not get much land, mostly islands, and Great Britian took over Canada. Another effect was that Great Britain was in major debt and taxed the colonist which lead to the Revolutionary War.
#12- George Washington was the First President and he was elected without vote. Thomas Jefferson was anti-Hamilton, and pro farmer. Thomas Jefferson became president after Hamilton was shot and killed, and Jefferson Purchased The Lousiana Purchase. Andrew Jackson helped strenghten the federal goverment, and also established the first National Bank.
#13-Tabby Wyatt- United States felt that Great Britain didnt want them to have power or much control. The war of 1812 was when Britain told Native Americans to attack us, and we weren't happy. Great Britian took men off our ships and made them into soldiers. War started in 1812 and We won and gained National Respect. The star-spangled banner was created on this war.Treaty of Ghant ended this War and Britain Burned down the White House.
#14- Madison Forsyth- The Texas war was fought between Texas and the Mexicans. Both thought they were better than eachother like the Americans thought they were better than the Mexicans, and that angered the Mexicans. Texas wanted their Independence from Mexico which that started the War. The Texans won the War and Gained their Independence from Mexico.
#15-Leah Eng- The Mexican American War was caused by a boundary line which separated the two countries. Texas thought the line was at the Rio Grande River and Mexico thought it was the border line. Mexico sends troops up to start the war even though The President planned to have Mexico to start the War. This war could of been avoided if they talked to each other. Americans won the war and we got California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and New Mexico. We gained a lot of land from that war but we had to pay 15 million.
